School Nursing and Immunisation Information

We have a school nurse assigned to our school from Guys & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. If you would like your child to be seen by the school nurse or you'd like some advice from the service, please reach out to Mrs Emma Whittaker (Head of Inclusion). 

 

Additionally, the school nursing service arrange catch up vaccination dates for any students and their parents/carers who have missed immunisations and would like to get caught up with them.

Parent Information Sessions for Years 8 and 9

The South London Children and Young People’s Community Immunisation Service are hosting two parent information sessions explaining the immunisations offered to teenagers during secondary school. These sessions will cover:

  • the HPV vaccine
  • the 3-in-1 teenage booster
  • the Meningococcal vaccine
  • the MMR vaccine

These information sessions are aimed at parents of students in years 8 and 9, or any parents whose young people missed their routine vaccines in years 8 and 9.
