Retreats
“The unexamined life is not worth living"
(Attributed to Greek philosopher Socrates as defence for accusation of corrupting the young)
Each year group is given an opportunity to spend a day together reflecting on a key theme relevant to their spiritual and personal development. The days are led by the chaplaincy team and external providers. These days are deeply rooted in Catholic Social Teaching and its themes: Dignity, Solidarity, The Common Good, Option for the Poor, Peace, Creation and Environment and The Dignity of Work and Participation and they are designed so that they are inclusive to all students of different or no faith.
